A fish market where visitors can have face-to-face interaction with fishermen implementing best fishing and aquaculture practices, and buy high quality responsible seafood products. The event is supported by the community of Bintaro, JARING Nusantara (a network of best fishers and NGOs), Fish 'n Blues (a supplier), chefs from Trisakti Tourism Academy and WWF-Indonesia.
The general lecture is open only to students and faculty members of University of Hasanuddin, local NGOs, local government of South Sulawesi Province and Marine Affairs and Fisheries. The lecture will carry the topic: "The Roles of CTI CFF in Coral Reefs Conservation based on Community".
This forum is intended as an opportunity to develop implementation plans for CTI-CFF at each location for the participants in order to achieve the goals of the National Plan of Action. The activity is called: National Forum of Coastal Regents in Coral Triangle area, with the theme of "Optimizing the Role of Local Governments in Implementing CTI Plans of Action at the National Level (National Plan of Action, NPOA)".
Outreach will be held in 10 Outer Islands (Alor, Masela, Wetar, Maratua, Kakarotan, Anambas, Marore, Bepondi, Panambulai, Manterau dan Sebatik) to raise awarness on coral reefs conservation.

Film screening with the theme of marine environment, climate change and coral reefs in Anambas Island and Maratua Island. This activity aims to provide education to the community through visualization and story-telling. The event is open to local villagers and school children.
The event involves a campaign and a public signing as a token of of public commitment to care for coral reef conservation efforts. This activity also marks the launch of the Indonesian Coral Reef Action Network (I-CAN), a movement of various civil society elements to work together in the management of coral reef ecosystems in an integrated manner.
Underwater and beach clean up at Pajanekang beach, will be involve the whole people who reside in Pajenekang Island. The Community Leader Award will be awarded to Mr. Daeng Santa, a community leader who has shown great concern with the coral reefs conservation in the Pajenekang Island.

In collaboration with environmental journalists (under the coordination of the Society of Indonesian Environmental Journalists/SIEJ) in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, CT Day celebrated through a media discussion about the the province's natural resources and how they are managed to benefit people/people's welfare. Resource persons/speakers were from the provincial government, academia, environmental NGOs, fishers association and media editors.
The talkshow is hosted by US Embassy. Three panelists Gondan Renosari from TNC, Hendra Yusran Siry from Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and Arie Parikesit, a culinary expert, will explain the threats and advantages of coral reefs for human being. An Educational Holiday in Paradise! Learn about the Coral Triangle and how WWF is working with partners and communities to protect this unique region, rich in birodiversity and culture. The Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa will host a week-long exhibition showcasing the many natural wonders of the Coral Triangle and the efforts that they are making in contributing to ensuring it's protection. There will be colourful and easy to understand infographics, brochures and factsheets to assist you in understanding how you can be part of the solution.
CTI Posters exhibition and CTI quizzes activities are open to all visitors of UMS Aquarium and Museum between 23-26 June 2014. The main purpose of the activities is to introduce the role of CTI and update activities of each CTI goals in Malaysia to public. Citizen Science workshop (for adults) and Marine Resources mapping workshop (for children age 11-12) are part of awareness programs jointly organized by various local CTI Malaysia stakeholders (Wildlife Department, WWF and Reef Check Malaysia).

IEC materials were placed around the Ninoy Aquino Parks providing information on the Coral Triangle and the Philippines' celebration to the CT Day.
7 June - this day's event will focus on the children of the islands, where a film showing and games about the ocean will be conducted, and it will culminate with the feeding program.
8 June - we will focus on the fishers, where a mass will be held, followed by talks and presentations.
Activities will be conducted by the Santo Nino Augustinian Social Development Foundation and Sea Knight
The forum was well attended by partner agencies. It was hosted by the Philippine Information Agency and print, TV and radio media was at hand to cover the event. The event was also covered live by a radio station. Hon. Thadeo Ouano, Provincial Board Member, was also present to discuss the Provincial Resolution on CT Day that he authored. Philippine Navy, Bureau of Fishries and Aquatic Resources and Sea Knights completed the panel of discussants for the event.
This was hosted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region 7. Press people (TV, print and radio) covered the event. To highlight the launching of the CT Day, Autonomous Reef Monitoring Structure was established inside the Alegria Marine Sanctuary. Dir. Mundita Lim, representatives from USAID and NOAA were present to witness the occasion.
The day started with a beach clean up at 6:30 a.m. by all the employees of Pulchra Resorts. It was followed by a short parade at 8:00 a.m. inside the resort with selected employees wearing environment-themed costumes. Then each group presented a dance drama with the theme: Caring for the Environment. This was hosted by Pulchra management and family members of the entire staff were invited.
Sea Knights together with the people of Doong Island, Bantayan Cebu will join the celebration of Coral Triangle Day in an advance celebration on June 3, 2014 at Doong Island, Bantayan, Cebu. This event is open to public, and is geared towards the preservation of what's left in Bantayan Seas, restoration of the damaged underwater treasures and making Bantayanons the greatest stewards of their seas.
Culinary sensation Bobby Chinn celebrates Coral Triangle Day with WWF for the third time since its launch on in June 9, 2012. WWF-Philippines' ecotourism partner Hamilo Coast shall host the event at the Pico de Loro Cove in Batangas. Bobby will prepare three dishes that will help promote better seafood alternatives and viable solutions that protect the Coral Triangle region's marine wealth. Through this partnership with Bobby Chinn and Hamilo Coast for Coral Triangle Day, WWF hopes to highlight the need to rehabilitate the Coral Triangle’s reefs from decades of damage and build a sustainable means of livelihood for fishermen.

Join the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management & Meteorology (MECDM) celebrate the World Environment Day, World Oceans Day and Coral Trinagle day by with the launch of Mataniko river Clean up and rehabilitation program. The day will start with official launch of the program, followed by Demonstrations and awareness from partners, and closed with a live band performance and youth market. The event is sponsored by the MECDM and South Pacific Community - Youth at work program.
Celebrate Coral Triangle Day with PAOA FM Radio by participating in the quiz. This will be done throught the day and including the Kids Happy Hour. This is supported by WWF South Pacific.
SI NCC will visit key Mînistries and the Prime Minister to present a gift pack containing CT Day promotional items, flash drive with key CTI documents.
75 children from Tasi-Tolu Primary School and 5 teachers will participate in a beach clean-up. 50 government staff from the secretary of state of fisheries will also attend. The programs in this event will be a beach clean-up, as well as a diving programme to clean the litter from the reef. Following these activities CI-TL will provide morning tea to participants. CI-TL has printed tee-shirts and stickers with CTI, CI an TL goverment logo on them to distribute to participants. All of the CI staff will participate in this event.
